Horace Mann welcomes award winning author Mac Barnett, on Wednesday, January 9th, 2019.   Mac Barnett will be visiting from California to promote the second book in his new middle grade series titled Mac B. Kid Spy. With over 20 children's books published, Mac Barnett's stories are wildly popular with the students at Horace Mann.  In fact one of his picture books, Rules of the House is up for a Washington Children's Choice Picture Book award this year and the popular middle grade series, Terrible Two was nominated for a Sasquatch Award last year.

Books are available for purchase prior to Mac's visit through Third Place Books and can be autographed and personalized.  Order forms to purchase books were sent home on Friday, December 14th.  If you would like an autographed book(s), please fill in the order form and return it along with payment to your child's classroom teacher by Thursday, December 20th.  Additional order forms are available outside the Horace Mann Library.
