Summer Reading Postcards, which are available on the Horace Mann website and in the Mann library, are due by this Friday, September 21. Postcards will be on display during the month of September and students who participate will be recognized with a certificate and celebrate with a special party, complete with a prize drawing, popcorn, and a free book for all participants. If more than 50% participation of our students participate, we will celebrate with a special Spirit Team Day where students can come to school dressed as their favorite book character. In addition, two lucky winners who submitted a shelfie and book review on the Colt Readers Blog between June and August will be awarded a $100 shopping spree at the Scholastic Book Fair.
