The Scholastic Book Fair is Coming Nov. 28-30

Support the Horace Mann library by shopping the Scholastic Book Fair November 28-30. The funds raised from this year's Scholastic Book Fair will be used to purchase picture books, chapter books, and nonfiction titles for reading enjoyment, and to support the Common Core State Standards and curriculum.  

Students will preview the book fair with their classes on November 27 and November 28.  

Book Fair Days/Hours

*Please note the Book Fair will be open during the concert, so please stop in and find the perfect gift for family, friends, and your child's teacher.

Teacher Wish Lists

We will also have teacher book bins this year. Teachers will attend a special preview and create a "wish list" of titles they would like to add to their classroom library. You may purchase a book from their wish list for the holidays, or you can donate money during the week of the Book Fair for the "Help us Buy Books" campaign. This year, all donations will be used to help teachers purchase books to add to their classroom libraries.

Family Night

Our very own Horace Mann choir, led by Mr. McRae, will perform for us during Family Night. Watch for more information on Family Night coming soon.

We also will have a lollipop pull with prizes during Family Night. 

Raffle

There will be a special raffle during Book Fair week. For every $25 spent at the book fair, students will receive one raffle ticket. This year we have the following items available for the raffle: K-1 book basket, 2-3 book basket, and 4-5 book basket (baskets are located directly outside of the library in the display case). Winners will be announced on Friday, December 1st.
