The Noetic Learning Math Contest (NLMC) is a semiannual problem solving contest for elementary and middle school students.

Update:

Dear parents/guardians and students,
As schools face unprecedented challenges posed by the COVID-19 outbreak, the health and safety of our students are our top priorities. For the 2020 spring contest, students will be able to take the test online at home.
The registration will remain open until April 2. We hope your students will once again join us – to learn, to master, and to compete in mathematics problem-solving, a skill that will take them far in life!

New dates: The competition date is April 9. The make up dates April 10-23.

The goal of the competition is to encourage students' interest in math, to develop their problem solving skills, and to inspire them to excel in math.

During the contest, students are given 45 minutes to solve 20 problems. Many problems are designed to challenge students and to enrich their problem solving experiences.

The contest is for students in grades 2-8.
