Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up and we want to hear what you appreciate about your teachers! Share your comments and stories with us for chance to be featured on the district social media channels. All are welcome to participate: LWSD students, staff, faculty, parents and community members. Email your comments to communications@lwsd.org by Friday, May 3.

Also, we’re aware that PTSA members will recognize teachers throughout the week. We would love to capture that excitement as well! Please invite members to photograph their gestures of appreciation for a chance to be featured on our social media channels. If students would like to participate in this, below are some ideas.

Examples: Students take photos with teachers, students create thank you posters, aerial group photo spelling out thank you, arts and crafts projects, decorate a teacher’s desk or door with balloons and banners, place flowers or balloons in teacher’s lounge, give flowers to teacher.
