The Horace Mann Science Fair is going to completely online this year. The Science Fair will be held on Friday, March 5th, 2021 on the Horace Mann PTSA Teams site from 5 pm to 8 pm.
This event is totally free! You don’t need to submit a project to attend. The entire Horace Mann community is encouraged to join us to explore, discover and enjoy. It promises to be a fun night packed with fascinating presentations cool things to explore.

Even if you don't submit a project, when you register with your student email you will be added to the "Science Fair - Group" in Teams. We're going to have some cool content leading up to the Science Fair and some activities to participate in. You will be automatically added to the "Science Fair - Night" in Teams before the Science Fair starts on March 5th at 5 pm.
There is no cost to participate or register.
If you are a member of the Horace Mann community and want to view the students projects you will also need to register. You will be added to the Science Fair - Night" in Teams shortly before the Science Fair starts on March 5th at 5 pm.
Once you register you will receive an invite to the Science Fair Teams group. You can switch to this group by navigating to the Horace Mann PTSA group in the drop down menu (see image below) and clicking it.
Pre-Science Fair Activities Page
Every week leading up to the science fair, there will be a mini experiment that you can try at home and post a flip grid video of yourself doing it for your friends and family to see. Visit the pre-fair team to see the latest experiment and resources to help you with your science experiment. You need to register to attend the science fair in order to gain access to the science fair and pre-fair teams. e-mail sciencefair@mannptsa.org if you are still having trouble getting on.
If you want to submit a project you must register (see the section above). After you have registered, you can create and upload either a Power Point or Video project.
Your projects needs to be uploaded by March 2nd at 5 pm to be included in the Science Fair.
All participants that submit a project will receive a recognition award.
