Membership Co-Chairs

• Recruits PTSA members, builds community and drives awareness of PTSA values
• Coordination of Fall membership campaign (Colt Corral) & kick-off event, including campaign goals, promotion, and engagement; Activity utilizes VP's to showcase their needs, informational guides etc.
• Enrolls members in WSPTA web-based system
• Welcomes new families to Horace Mann
• 3-5 hours per month

Nominating Committee Co-Chairs

• Lead point with three PTSA members who evaluate candidates for & put forth a slate for Board positions.

Art Night Co-Chairs

• Coordinates with the Art VP & Events VP to set the joint event
• Work with the chairs to ensure the hallways are full of kids art.

Art Supply Co-Chairs

• Monthly inventory of basic art room supplies, and placing orders
• Calculating expenditures, and keeping supplies organized

Artist In Residence Co-Chairs

• Forming a committee and securing a local artist
• Creating a legacy project for school with 4th & 5th graders

Kiln Chair

• Works with Art Docents coordinating Kiln projects
• Help art docents with any clay projects

NW Art Project Co-Chairs

• Attend free, all-day training, Hold evening training with committee
• Coordinate with admin for scheduling
• Coordinate set up and take down of art pieces

Reflections Co-Chairs

• Advertise the Fall art contest
• Finding and facilitating judging
• Submitting entries, and presenting awards

Newsletter Co-Chairs

• Request news articles from the Board
• Compile Articles and Publish quarterly newsletter

• Coordinated the Bi-Weekly Math Olympiad -- problem solving activities for K-5 students

Legislative Chair

• Liaises with the district PTSA council on legislative priorities
• Supports local and state advocacy efforts for education funding and policy

Emergency Preparedness Chair

• Ensures the PTSA supports school safety and emergency readiness initiatives
• Coordinates with school administration on emergency preparedness planning

Sustainability Chair

• Promotes environmental initiatives within the school community
• Coordinates green programs and sustainability education efforts

Colt Community Caring Chair

• Supports underserved students through scholarships and resources
• Coordinates community support programs for families in need

Special Needs Chair

• Advocates for students with special needs and their families
• Ensures access to resources and support for academic and social success

Quest Co-Chairs

• Supports the needs of highly capable students
• Coordinates enrichment opportunities and advocates for advanced learning programs

Awards Committee Co-Chairs

• Organize and manage the spring PTSA awards program.

Birthday Book Club Co-Chairs

• Coordinate birthday book program with the library.

Hospitality Committee Co-Chairs

• Organize and coordinate monthly Staff Appreciation Day.
• Organize and coordinate Staff Appreciation Week.
• Communicate with Room Leads regarding grade level led Staff Appreciation Days.
• Facilitate creating signups for these events.

Room Lead Co-Chairs

• Coordinate room lead signups
• Support room leads by answering questions and guiding to available resources

School Supplies Co-Chairs

• Coordinate school supply fundraiser program
• Manage ordering and distribution process
