One of the first PTSA events of the school year. A bike track goes up on the main parking lot and drop-off loop, there is ice cream for everyone, and tie-dye spirit wear goes on sale. It is an easy, low-key evening for new families to meet people early in the year.

WE NEED HELP!

We need folks to set-up, scoop ice cream, monitor the bike tracks, tie-dye shirts, and more! The sign-up is divided into 30-minute increments to allow for volunteers to have time to enjoy the event with their families before/after their shift(s). What to Expect

• Bike tracks set up for both beginner and more confident riders
• An ice cream social, with non-dairy options available
• Tie-dye spirit wear in a new design each year, sold at the event, with proceeds going to the Colt Corral Fund

Good to Know

• Helmets are required on the track
• Bikes only — no scooters
• An adult must supervise any child on the track
• Not a drop-off event, so plan to stay for the evening

Help Make It Happen

The Bike Derby runs on volunteers in half-hour shifts — scooping ice cream, watching the track, or helping at the spirit wear table. If you can spare thirty minutes, email fundraising@mannptsa.org.
