We are excited to offer a diverse range of Courses to enrichment your child's learning experience beyond the classroom. From sports to arts to music to STEM, there's something for every child to enjoy and learn from!
Horace Mann PTSA is please to help bring choir, orchestra, and band class options to our enrichment offerings. Unlike other enrichment classes, music classes will be for the full school year. Enrollment will be open the same time as Fall enrichment classes. Students are welcome to join choir at any time. Enrollment for choir will stay open all year.
Instruments: students are responsible to obtain their own instruments as well as the beginner music book. (details coming soon) Music and Arts in Redmond offer affordable rentals. If the cost of renting an instrument is a barrier for any student, please reach out and PTSA volunteers will help obtain a free instrument that your student may borrow.
There are 3 sessions of After School Enrichment classes every school year. Music Classes are yearlong and enrollment will open during the Fall Enrichment Enrollment.

Enrichment and Music Class registration is handled through homeroom.com. To save time when registering, you can create an account with homeroom and add your children now. Return to this page on Sept 7 to see the live registration link.
With a new principal and a new system for booking the building, enrichment class schedules will need a little extra time to be finalized this fall. Thank you for your patience as we work out all the final details. Below is an idea of some of the classes that will be available. Check back next week for the final schedule.
Note: age exceptions for classes may be made with teacher approval.

We offer financial aid for any families that need it. No questions asked. Please reach out to Ms. Khedairy halkhedairy@lwsd.org or president@mannptsa.org and they will provide you with a code to enter at check out for $100 off tuition. Families may have 1 code per child per year. Families with financial need will also be prioritized when selecting chaperones for class. The child of the parent chaperons is enrolled in the class for free. Apply HERE
Courses run for 6 to 12 weeks, depending on the activity.
Classes typically take place directly after school 4-5pm Mon, Tue, Thu and 2:30-3:30 PM Wed. There will be limited classes available before school from 8:10-9:10am
Activities are held right at Horace Mann in various school facilities, including the gym, art & science room, and music room.
Enrichment Chaperones - FREE Tuition
Get involved as a chaperone! As a bonus for chaperoning your child's class, they get free tuition and a guaranteed spot in the class. Apply to chaperone a class HERE. Chaperones will be selected on the day before enrollment opens. All applications received by that date will be considered equally. Once enrollment is open, chaperon positions are assigned on a first come basis. A class without a dedicated chaperone may be cancelled. Email enrichment@mannptsa.org if you have questions.
We are looking for parent volunteers to run clubs and activities. If you have an idea of a class or club you would like to run, please reach out to our enrichment coordinator Cindy Goulding enrichment@mannptsa.org.

If you are interested in joining the enrichment class selection committee, please email enrichment@mannptsa.org - the more the merrier. We will be meeting in August to plan Fall, October for the Winter and February for the Spring classes.
If you are interested in offering a class as part of our enrichment program, please fill out this Information Form and a member of our enrichment committee will contact you within a week to discuss your application and our availability. All vendors hired by the PTSA need to agree to our Vendor Policies
