National PTA and the American Psychological Association are hosting a webinar on Nov. 14 on the topic of helping children cope with trauma. Clinical child psychologist Robin Gurwitch will share with families how to talk to your kids openly and directly about what's happening in schools and communities, and how to know when they might need more help than you can give them.

The webinar will empower families with resources and guidance on how to address both when traumatic events happen to kids and when kids witness traumatic events through the media.
